Dinghy Rules at Association Float
Tallwood Association Rules for Dinghies at Association Float
Approval from the Association officers and directors needed before any dinghy is left at the float.
First preference to be given to Association members who own moorings.
Common dinghy available for use by Association members, at their own risk.
Maximum length of the dinghy is 12 feet.
Dinghies are to be in the water – not up on the float (except during storms).
Dinghy owner assumes all risk of leaving dinghy at the float and liability to others.
Dinghy must be securely tied and oar locks inboard.
Dinghies are to be tied BOW end to the EAST side of the float (opposite the swim ladder).
No motors greater than 10HP are to be left on a dinghy.
Dinghies need to be removed by Indigenous Peoples' weekend.
The number of dinghies at the float shall not exceed 5 (the Association dinghy being one of them).
